Winnipeg's First Tweed Ride! Sept 12, 2010

All you Gents and Ladies- cycling fans— bring your velocipede as it’s finally time to wear appropriate TWEED (plus fours! Cloche hats!) clothing and ride your bike SLOWLY- no racing allowed- or spandex/lycra (you will be taunted for wearing such clothing, and a riot may break out, I can’t stop that) for about 10km. The older your bike for this ride, the better!

Start at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion, and eventually end up at the Kings Head Pub much later in the day/evening, on Sept 12^th. Cyclovia is also on that day, so Broadway is closed to vehicles, and there will be lots going on with vendors/displays/activities all day. Plus you can stop for lunch in the park, play a game of croquet, lots of possibilities…. Anybody have one of the bikes below?????
